This annual event is organized by the AHDA, Alliance For Headache Disorders Advocacy. They set up meetings with your Senators, in Washington, DC, every March, and then, again, virtually in August. The in-person meetings have a $50 application fee, and the virtual ones are FREE.
I’ve been attending these meetings for years, often as a Team Leader, and they are so EMPOWERING! You get face-time with your Senator’s aid. You get to be the change you wish to see in helping to educate them about legislation that pertains to migraine research and treatments. You also develop a relationship with your local government officials… for the future!
